   Daniel P.Birkbeck,M.D.Hand Surgeon Dr. Birkbeck completed his undergraduate work in 1986 and received his M.D. in 1990, both from the University of Michigan. His residency in orthopaedic surgery was completed at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Birkbeck then completed a fellowship in Hand and Musculoskeletal Microsurgical Reconstruction at the S.U.N.Y. in Buffalo, N.Y. in 1996. Prior to joining Shoreline Orthopaedics in December of 1996, he completed an AO fellowship in Upper Extremity Trauma in Bern, Switzerland. Dr. Birkbeck has had several publications in orthopaedic and hand journals and has presented original research at national meetings on several occasions. He is affiliated with the following organizations: American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Association for Hand Surgery, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Michigan Orthopaedic Society. He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. |
