Dr. Wolfe graduated from the
University of Michigan with a B.S.
degree in 1981 and an M.S. in
1983. While at U of M he spent a
year studying in Freiberg, Germany.
He went on to receive his M.D. from
Emory University in Atlanta,
Georgia in 1987. He completed his residency in
orthopaedic surgery in 1992 through Wayne State
University/Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Wolfe has been
active in medical research in the past and is currently a clinical instructor in orthopaedics for the Grand Valley State University Physician Assistant Program. He is a mentor in the Hope College Pre-Med program and volunteers his time both at Hope College and various high schools performing athletic physicals. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is involved in the following professional organizations: Michigan Orthopaedic Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Ottawa County Medical Society and Michigan State Medicine Society. Dr. Wolfe is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and of the American College of Surgeons.
