Michael A. Cheek, M.D.

Dr. Cheek graduated with honors from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, in 1990.  He received his M.D. at the University of Michigan in 1994, graduating with honors.  After completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Cheek joined the United States Air Force, where he was Chief of Orthopaedics at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.  Upon discharge from the armed forces, Dr. Cheek joined Shoreline Orthopaedics in July of 2003.  A Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Cheek specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery and arthroscopy.  He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Cheek is an active member of Ridgepoint Community Church in Holland, and he and his wife are foster parents for Bethany Christian Services.  Dr. Cheek also does volunteer work at the Holland Rescue Mission and the Holland Community Health Center.
