Michael T. Dean, M.D.

Dr. Dean's focus is on Total Knee and Hip Replacements as well as lower extremity injuries.  Dr. Dean attended Central Michigan University and graduated from Wayne State University Medical School in 1986.  While attending the respective colleges, Dr. Dean was a member of the Alpha Omega and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies.  He completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and in 1990 received the Patrick Kelly Award for research.  Dr. Dean has also had several publications in medical journals.  He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is involved in the following professional organizations:  Michigan Orthopaedic Society, Mid-American Orthopaedic Association, and the American Medical Association.  He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
