Elizabeth M. Carlson, M.P.A.S, PA-C, B.A.

As a physician assistant, Elizabeth has experience in multiple areas of orthopaedics, with emphasis on sports medicine and joint reconstruction. Her current focus is on disorders of the spine, as well as on physical medicine and rehabilitation. Elizabeth treats conditions such as degenerative diseases of the spine, misalignment disorders, disc herniations, and other musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. She strives to achieve optimal outcomes by working closely with her patients, and she believes strongly in the importance of patient education.

Elizabeth received a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2011 from Hope College, where she became involved in research, including studies on high intensity interval training. In 2014, she earned her master's in physician assistant studies at Marquette University, and was certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Elizabeth completed her orthopaedic surgery clinical at Shoreline Orthopaedics.

As a West Michigan native from Hudsonville, Elizabeth enjoys spending time outdoors, on the water, exploring northern Michigan, and on improving her cooking skills. She loves to travel and is always looking forward to her next adventure.
