Interventional Pain Management Specialist

As a fellowship trained interventional pain management specialist, Dr. Monroe specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain. She offers non-surgical treatment options for a variety of painful disorders.

She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Illinois in 1998. She received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2003. Dr. Monroe completed a four-year physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan and a one-year pain medicine fellowship through the Department of Anesthesia at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Prior to joining Shoreline, Dr. Monroe worked in private practice in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
