Elizabeth is committed to offering a high level of personalized care. By making a special effort to get to know her patients, she is better able to provide treatment that takes the goals and needs of the individual into consideration. She devotes time to answering questions and providing explanations in order to help patients better understand their condition, and to help them become more comfortable with the care they receive. Primarily focused on total knee and total hip replacements, Elizabeth aims to work closely with the physicians to ensure optimal outcomes for her patients.
Elizabeth graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences. In 2010, she received a master of science in health science and PA studies from Weill Cornell Medical College, where she also trained at Hospital for Special Surgeries, primarily in joint replacement and sports medicine. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. As a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and a regular attendee of the annual Physicians Assistants of Orthopaedic Surgery CME conference, she remains current on all new procedures and protocols.
As an NCAA All-American in swimming, Elizabeth continues to participate in various athletics, including soccer and running. She enjoys volunteer work and finds involvement with the Special Olympics particularly satisfying.
Elizabeth is affiliated with both Holland Hospital (Holland, Michigan) and Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital (Zeeland, Michigan). She is currently accepting new patients.
