Thereseann M. Huprikar, D.O.

Dr. Huprikar is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with subspecialty training in interventional pain management, sports medicine, and electrodiagnostic medicine. Her multifaceted approach includes therapy, osteopathic manual medicine, medications, and injections. She is passionate about using her knowledge of diagnosing and treating neurological and musculoskeletal conditions to help patients become more functional and reach their goals.

Dr. Huprikar completed her undergraduate and medical education, as well as residency and fellowship, at Michigan State University, serving as chief resident her final year of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency. During her two-year EMG, Interventional Spine, and Sports Medicine Fellowship, she worked closely with Division I athletes, both in the training room and on the sidelines. In addition, she volunteered at a weekly injury clinic held by a local running store, and provided medical coverage for high school football games. Dr. Huprikar remains up to date on the latest research and is an active member of multiple national societies, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Spine Intervention Society, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Huprikar enjoys running, hiking, gardening, boating, and going to the beach. Formerly a Division I athlete for Michigan State cross country and track and field teams, she has continued to run after college, completing multiple marathons, half marathons, and Spartan races. Dr. Huprikar is very dedicated to her family, which includes her husband, three children, and two dogs.
