Peyten is passionate about providing thorough patient education in order to improve outcomes. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Peyten worked in ortho, neuro, spine, where she gained valuable experience in pre- and post-operative care. Getting patients back to living their lives and doing the things they enjoy is her favorite part about working in orthopaedics.
Peyten attended Miami University where she received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2019. She earned her master’s degree in physician assistant practice in 2022 from the University of Dayton. Peyten is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Peyten enjoys weightlifting, walking her dog, and spending time with friends and family. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, she is looking forward to exploring all that West Michigan has to offer.
