Shoreline Orthopaedics Joins the Michigan Orthopaedic Alliance

We are pleased to share an exciting update about the future of your orthopaedic care.

Three leading orthopaedic practices in Michigan have come together to form a collaborative organization called the Michigan Orthopaedic Alliance. The three groups joining this alliance are Great Lakes Orthopaedic Center (Traverse City), Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon (Muskegon and Grand Haven), and Shoreline Orthopaedics (Holland, Zeeland, and Hudsonville). We plan on additional groups across the state joining in 2027.

By working together through this alliance, our practices will be able to strengthen the care we provide, expand resources, and enhance services for patients across the state.

Importantly, each of the three practices will remain independent, and the physicians, providers, and staff you know and trust will continue caring for you just as they do today. Your appointments, locations, and day-to-day interactions with our team will remain the same.

Over time, you may notice the name Michigan Orthopaedic Alliance, or Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon, appearing on certain administrative documents, such as your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company. This simply reflects the collaboration between our practices and does not change your care, your provider, or how you schedule appointments.

During this transition, it is normal for some administrative paperwork to look slightly different. For example, you may notice variations in the practice name listed on insurance documents. These changes are expected and do not require any action from you.

Our goal in forming the Michigan Orthopaedic Alliance is to continue delivering the highest level of orthopaedic care while strengthening our ability to serve patients throughout Michigan.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office. Thank you for the trust you place in us for your orthopaedic care.
