About Dr. Hall

Dr. Teresa Hall is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in sports medicine. She provides both surgical and nonsurgical treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients of all ages and activity levels return to the activities they love safely and confidently. Her clinical expertise includes arthroscopic and open procedures of the shoulder and knee, knee and shoulder joint replacement, fracture care, and general orthopaedics. She is committed to guiding patients through every phase of recovery—from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation and long-term performance.

Dr. Hall earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at Metro Health – University of Michigan Health-West in Wyoming, Michigan, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at the University at Buffalo in New York. Dr. Hall also holds a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Sports Medicine, signifying the highest certification you can achieve.

A former collegiate soccer player, Dr. Hall brings a personal appreciation for the importance of movement and understands the physical and mental drive it takes to return from injury. She creates individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s goals, combining evidence-based techniques with a hands-on, compassionate approach. It is important to Dr. Hall that she takes the time to understand her patients’ goals so they can work together to create a treatment path that fits their lifestyle. Dr. Hall has worked with athletes at all levels—from high school and NCAA Division I to professional football, hockey, and lacrosse—and she enjoys caring for patients of any gender, age, or level of competition.

Originally from mid and northern Michigan, Dr. Hall is happy to be back in her home state with her husband, two children, and two huskies. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, triathlons, skiing, hiking, playing golf with her family, and spending time on the water during Michigan summers.
