ERs and standard urgent care facilities are more equipped for treating general systemic conditions or severe traumatic injuries. When you go to the ER or urgent care for an orthopaedic condition, you will be treated conservatively and referred to an orthopaedic specialist for treatment and follow-up. The goal of our Orthopaedic Urgent Care is to give patients direct access to specialized care and prevent delayed treatment.
