Hayden S. Smith, P.A.-C.

Hayden’s passion for orthopaedic medicine began with his participation in athletics growing up, and later, playing college baseball. After experiencing multiple injuries of his own, he gained a better understanding of the patient’s perspective and the influential role an orthopaedic team has on patients and their loved ones. Hayden is a compassionate individual who enjoys building relationships with patients and working alongside them as a teammate during their journey to healing.

Hayden received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Hope College. During this time, he gained hands-on experience working as a patient care assistant in a skilled nursing facility and in the Holland Hospital Emergency Department. Hayden earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Marquette University and completed his orthopaedic surgery clinical rotation at Shoreline Orthopaedics. He has been certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
