Prior to working in orthopaedics, Michael spent nine years in emergency medicine where he gained extensive experience involving orthopaedic emergencies and other acute care problems. He is devoted to providing high quality, integrative care for his patients, with the goal of helping them return to an active lifestyle.
In 2009, Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in health fitness in preventive and rehabilitative programs, followed by a master’s in physician assistant studies in 2012, both at Central Michigan University. In addition to being NCCPA board certified, he holds certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Michael relocated to West Michigan in 2012, after receiving his master's. He is an avid weightlifter and enjoys traveling, music and movies, but his greatest passion is spending time with his wife and two daughters.
