Computed radiography, or digital X-ray, is an advanced technology that streamlines the X-ray process and enables Shoreline Orthopaedics to provide each patient with superior, prompt treatment based on the most accurate, efficient diagnosis. Unlike a traditional X-ray that requires time for film development and storage space that is protected from light, a digital X-ray can be viewed immediately and stored electronically, making it readily available and accessible by your physician at any time. When necessary, digital X-rays can also be enhanced in a variety of ways for improved viewing.
