John I. Khoury, M.D.

Foot & Ankle / Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr. Khoury is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic foot and ankle specialist. He grew up in Farmington Hills, Michigan and earned his bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Michigan in 1996. After the sudden death of his father at a young age, Dr. Khoury worked full time as an EMT in Detroit while completing a master’s degree in biology at Wayne State University. He conducted basic science research at Henry Ford Hospital’s Bone and Joint Center, and received his M.D. from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2003. Dr. Khoury completed a five-year orthopaedic surgical residency at the Detroit Medical Center and a one-year foot and ankle fellowship under the direction of Dr. Arthur Manoli II in Pontiac, Michigan.  For two years prior to joining Shoreline, Dr. Khoury was in practice at New England Foot & Ankle Specialists, Mercy Hospital, in Portland, Maine.
